Fort Santiago

Fort Santiago (Spanish: Fuerte de Santiago Tagalog: Moog ng Santiago) is a citadel first built by Spanish conquistador, Miguel López de Legazpi for the new established city of Manila in the Philippines. The defense fortress is part of the structures of the walled city of Manila referred to as Intramuros ("within the walls").
The fort is one of the most important historical sites in Manila. Several lives were lost in its prisons during the Spanish Colonial Period andWorld War IIJosé Rizal, the Philippine national hero, was imprisoned here before his execution in 1896. The Rizal Shrine museum displays memorabilia of the hero in their collection and the fort features, embedded onto the ground in bronze, his footsteps representing his final walk from his cell to the location of the actual execution.
It is a few hundred steps away from the Manila Cathedral and Palacio del Gobernador (which currently house the Commission on Elections).

Diplomat Hotel- Heritage Hill and Prayer Mountain

Diplomat Hotel is an old abandoned former hotel located at Dominican Road in Baguio City. It is famous for being a haunted place. Diplomat Hotel and its environment is now named Heritage Hill and Prayer Mountain.
I don't exactly know but according to what I've heard, it is being used as place for spiritual retreats and for ecumenical/religious services.
Before entering, you should fill-up the log-book at the guard house. I was so curious about this place when I first heard about it from a friend. She mentioned about some creepy experiences she had so it made me want to see it.  I didn't feel any strange feelings like what others are telling when I first laid my eyes on it. It was just like any other ordinary place. It's just amazing that this building is still standing after long decades. While walking around the hotel, I've seen some tourists around and some couples having dates. Well maybe, it's kinda peaceful so there are couples who like to roam around together. You know, you feel brave to be here when you're with you're special one.
Anyway, I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit at this magnificent place...

Lion's Head- Kennon Road Viewpoint

Lion's Head is located in Camp 6, along Kennon Road, Baguio City. After two years of staying in Baguio City, I was so happy to go there and see what many tourists are mostly attracted to and certainly want to go to.  Many tourists have their photographs taken at the base of the lion's head and I have chosen to have my first picture on this area because it makes me feel I am so much welcomed in this place!

The Kennon Road Viewpoint is a wonderful view of Baguio City’s mountainous slope.

This is a way down the stairs from the deck where we see more beautiful views and can take more photos!

This is one of the huts we could see.
Here's a little bit closer look...

This is such a very calming place. It always makes me feel peaceful whenever I see nature... especially  mountains.
